CarbonScope is a carbon compliance intelligence platform that provides tools for estimating carbon footprints, assessing regulatory compliance risk, and tracking compliance deadlines across multiple jurisdictions. The Platform is designed for use by professionals in the events, film & TV production, and education industries.

To access certain features of the Platform, you may need to create an account. You agree to:

• Maintain and promptly update your account information
• Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with third parties

• Transmit malicious code, viruses, or any other harmful content
• Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
• Use the Platform's compliance data to make representations to regulators without independent verification

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform, including but not limited to the compliance database, calculation methodology, software, design, text, and graphics, is the intellectual property of Studio JC or its licensors and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the Platform for your own internal business purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Platform content without our prior written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, CarbonScope and Studio JC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to regulatory penalties, fines, or compliance failures.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to CarbonScope in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Australia. If you are accessing the Platform from the European Union, you retain the benefit of any mandatory consumer protection provisions of your local law.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email with at least 14 days' notice. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date of changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
